The Road to Nowhere Issue 2

£12.00 / Sold Out

The Road to Nowhere magazine showcases new creative & cultural writing, art, and photography about second-generation immigrants, various diasporas, and migration narratives. Its intention is to celebrate the global nature of our communities and scrutinise what identity really constitutes.

In this issue, we welcome over 22 contributors with backgrounds ranging from the Māori community to the Jewish community, from Malaysia to Egypt to Ghana, and beyond. DJ Rohan Rakhit tells us about his involvement in the Daytimers Collective, Time Out's food writer Angela Hui tells us about growing up in a Chinese takeaway in rural wales, artist Wendy Owusu charts her journey from Paris to Ghana to learn a traditional fabric weaving technique, Hark1karan documents the Sikh community of Southall dedicated to classic cars, and musician Meduulla shares poetry about what's in a name, to name just a few. We hope you see yourselves within these pages.
